Research On Digital Interface Interaction Design Of Elderly Product Based On Visual Characteristics

Advent of the information society, our lives are so closely connected with all kinds of electronic products. with the cloud technology, intelligence and internet of things have matured, the usage and operation of electronic products has undergone a fundamental change which are from the traditional push-button control to the interface type control, and function link between the products are more closely, Interface is designed under new design requirements. The elders have a considerable needs to the electronic products. Due to the age differences of visual characteristics, there is a new interface design research needs to the digital Interface for the elderly. In this paper, the interaction structure and visual elements of the digital interface are designed and analized based on visual and perception characteristics of the elderly, so that establishing the relevant principles of user interface interaction design and showing the concerning to elderly groups.The thesis have analized and discussed comprehensively the basic visual features and established the key influnce positions of visual attention and working memory from design art by analysing influencing factors of visual cognition in elderly, and, leads to three affiliate influence factors visual motion laws,function metaphors and emotional factors by extending the analysis of attention and memory mechanism. Then, analyzed the interface interaction structure and visual elements from the relevant factors of influcing the visual perception. Getting the visual elements of visual prototypes has attracted elder’s attention through the interactive visual elements prototype extraction and visual preference test experiment, and established some design principles of user interface design. Finally, expanded the design practice according to the relevant design principles related to the interaction structure and visual elements of the user interface.Digital interface interaction design mainly refers to the visual backdrop of some electronic products software graphical user interface including information architecture, interface navigation and interaction vision features. With the information scociety developing, the digital interface interactive design own some practical significance based on the elder vision features.
