In the automobile manufacturing industry, in order to ensure the performance of the whole vehicle is good, must ensure that qualified performance of each parts,and the performance of engine connecting rod qualified is very key. In this paper,based on electromagnetic induction principle, using the eddy current nondestructive testing technology, the design for detecting and sorting device of engine connecting rod.Combined with the current research status of eddy current nondestructive detection, this paper uses EPM1270 as the main control substrate equipment detecting and sorting device chip; sinusoidal signal generator design to realize the adjustable frequency using the direct digital frequency synthesis technology of DDS; according to the characteristic of engine connecting rod by the method of orthogonal design, the optimal design of parameters of eddy current sensor for AD conversion; after the cache data processing using FIFO chip, using EPM1270 internal Flash (UFM) to store the data in FIFO; then data in the Flash is sent to the PC software of the host computer through the Uart, written by C# is responsible for analyzing the data, in order to detected and separated.According to the actual demand and the research present situation, for the detection and separation of engine connecting rod presents the overall design of the system. Designed the whole system hardware circuit, including the design of eddy current sensor, the power amplifying circuit and the signal conditioning circuit,they are all the analog circuits.Designed the digital circuit part, including D/A conversion, A/D conversion, FIFO cache and Uart communication. The modular programming method based on complex programmable logic device EPM1270 control module is designed, including the D/A control module, A/D control module, FIFO chip control module, UFM control module, Uart control module. Write PC software processing to achieve upload data analysis,draw the graphics then detected and separated.The function of each part of the system is tested, then debug the whole machine, confirm the device can perform sorting for engine connecting rod.
