With the development of the times and scientific advancement, people aregradually beginning to be in line with the concept of “green” and “sustainabledevelopment”.Concrete in the construction industry has also been transforming intothe direction of highstrength, low density, low environmental pollution, and convenientconstruction.High-performance concrete is emerging in recent decades,andselfcompacting lightweight aggregate concrete is one of them. Selfcompactinglightweight aggregate concrete combined comprehensive advantages of light weightwith good fluidity,it is developed by selfcompacting concrete and lightweightaggregate concrete. Nowadays scholars mostly concentrated on mixing proportiondesign, work performance and mechanical properties of selfcompacting lightweightaggregate concrete,but the study of structure or member of selfcompacting lightweightaggregate concrete is very limited.This article studies the seismic performance of selfcompacting lightweightaggregate concrete frame column by low cyclic load test of three selfcompactinglightweight aggregate concrete frame column and an ordinary concrete frame column.The article analysizes the hysteretic curves, skeleton curves, ductility and energydissipation capacity of selfcompacting lightweight aggregate concrete frame columnswhich based on test data of different axial compression ratio. At the same time, thearticle compared the results with an ordinary concrete frame column.Studies have shown that with axial compression ratio increases, the dissipationcoefficient and ductility decreases, it shows poor seismic performance; In contrast toordinary concrete frame column, the ductility and dissipation factor of selfcompactinglightweight aggregate concrete frame column is lower.The numerical simulation of selfcompacting lightweight aggregate concrete framecolumn with the finity element software MARC is carried out to compare with theresult of the experiment.
