Since the 90s of the 20th century, China's bridge construction is experiencing a glorious period of development,establishment of a large number of novel structure, technical complexity, design and construction difficult, with modern high-tech quality and long span steel bridge across the sea of crossing the river. Min Pu Bridge is the world's largest twin dual-span cable stayed bridge road surface layer, the side span and main span are the basic steel structure, is also the difficulty of its production is a world-class, therefore, through the bridge construction technology to the same type of steel bridge construction at home and abroad to provide reference and an important reference value.In this paper, Min Pu Bridge Steel through the whole construction process briefly, and then choose the construction process re-analysis of the welding process, the factory's main construction site lifting techniques and processes. In the welding process, the 40 kinds of welding process test, and forming a complete coverage of the welding procedure qualification, and to study ways to eliminate residual stress. This research, on the Min Pu Bridge opened to traffic last successfully played an important role.
