| The rubber cable is better than PE and PVC cable in flexibility, waterproofness, flame retardancy and corrosion resistance. So it is widely applied in High-speed Rail, Wind Power Station, Nuclear Power Station and Offshore Oil Platform. With the enormous investment in these industries, the increasing demand of rubber cable will keep a long time. In order to win in the fierce market competition, many cable factories have enlarged investment to the purchase and improvement of the concatenation-vulcanization-line (CV-Line) recently. As the key of the CV-Line, the performance of the rubber extruder will be paid more attention.In this paper, the object of study is the temperature control system of the rubber extruder that should affect the efficiency and performance of the CV-Line. Because it is a typical nonlinear and time-varying system, we are extremely difficult to create a precise mathematical model that can describe the system. So the temperature control system is designed based on fuzzy method.In this paper, at first the structure and process of the extruder was analyzed. The hardware design of temperature control system that includes heater, cooler, temperature sensor, control part and HMI was completed based on the characteristics of the extruder. The structure of the control part that consists of S7-300 PLC, Profibus and MPI net ensures the dependability, flexibility and high efficiency.Then a temperature controller based on the fuzzy logical was designed. Based on temperature offset and the fuzzy rules, the controller can calculate the optimal result and transform it to an accurate output. The practical result shows that the control method can effectively improve the control precision and response speed, and avoid the tedious process of creating a mathematical model.In the software designing process of the temperature control system, the hardware configuration of PLC, input/output module, interface module and HMI was completed by the STEP7 software. And the function of signal transformation, fuzzy control and logistic was also programmed by the STEP7 software.In the end the paper discusses that how to designs the HMI and the communication between HMI and PLC by InTouch software. This HMI realizes the functions include parameter setting, data monitoring, data archiving, alarm management, and printing. |
