The agricultural vehicle power take-off not only inherits the high efficiency of transmission, stable structure, low cost , mature manufacture-processes, etc., but also has a high cost-effective , so it becomes an important branch of vehicle transmission and has a wide market-prospects. In the domestic development of vehicle technology, the power take-off mounted on agricultural vehicles is a trend. Therefore, It is an important practical significance to simulate by computer and experimented of the agricultural vehicles loaded with power take-off.The dynamic performance of agricultural vehicles loaded with power take-off is discussed from the design and modeling .With the dynamic theory, the power take-off is simulated by MATLAB. The main contents are as follows:①A new type of two-axis power take-off is designed based on the vehicle dynamics theory, Three-dimensional modeling and assembly of PTO are made by using SolidWorks, and also the process of three-dimensional modeling is analyzed. The shaft, gear (straight / helical gear mixed), mixed shaft-gear parts are modeled.②Analyze the dynamic performance of the agricultural vehicle and vehicle characteristics of the drive system with PTO by using automotive theory, including engine speed characteristics and power take-off torque transmission characteristics. Get the engine speed characteristics, and construct a mathematical model of the engine by using testing performance data of YD480-engine, Experiment is made by using power take-off to come to the data of torque transmission characteristics.③Use Matlab to simulate the dynamic performance of agricultural vehicles. Focus on the dynamic performance of power take process simulation. The Simulink simulation model is established based on the characteristics of power take-off, and finally come to the simulation graph.④Experiments are made based on the designed sample. According to the existing national standard and line marked of auto industry, the reliability experiments of the power take-off are tested by bench and the reliable experiment-analysis are made. The dynamics experiments of the real vehicle traffic Kinetics are made with agricultural vehicle loaded with power take-off based on standards of vehicle dynamics and also compared with simulated data.⑤Analyze and summarize the development-future and development-prospects of power take-off. Forecast the areas such as technical performance of the future.The data obtained shows that the development of power take-off is successfully, the dynamics of agricultural vehicle loaded with power take-off achieves marketing demand, through the simulation and many times of bench test sample and real vehicle road test.
