| With the development of science and technology, more and more light of the building materials has been selected, and requirements of people are increasingly high to resist natural disasters of buildings, and pay more attention to it. Nearly two years, natural disaster has brought huge economic losses and casualties in China. The houses were destroyed by natural disasters, such as earthquake and the typhoon. Therefore, it is very important to improve resistibility of the building structure and provide a safe haven for the people. The buildings are becoming higher and wider, so the control of wind load has become a vital a factor in the structure design.Wind load on the structure, was as a linear load usually along one side of a building, without the action of typhoons and tornado, which was becoming an important action in recent years. They caused by tropical depressions, thunderstorms tornado vortex, and the changes of pressure inside and outside. The building structure had highly destructive wind torque and wind suction by this pressure because of the vortex and the tornado. There are many disadvantages of the average wind tunnel tests, which has a less app- licability. In this paper, it was found that the wind tunnel test has some insufficiency when do some analysis of tornado loads, such as time-consuming, laborious, and the higher consumption of resources. So in this paper, the computer who has a rapidly developing now, was used to calculate and simulate the formation of tornadoes and the analysis of the buildings load.According to the features and special structure of tornado, the full of the technology of CFD has been used to deduce numerical results of tornado load in translation funnel model of building .It was considered that the impact of translational motion based on the theory of the Rankine vortex motion. Fluent is the large Numerical simulation and analysis software. It can plot out grid, select boundary condition, and confirm model of turbulence and parameters. The tornado load of rectangular buildings is two-dimensional numerical simulated and analyzed in different locations, and it provides reference for wind load calculations. |
