With the development of road transportation, asphalt recycling technology has been increasingly concerned and got more and more attention, and the most important factor affecting their life and the actual quality is the durability of recycled asphalt. The research in this field at home and abroad is not very comprehensive, and the aging aspect of recycled asphalt is deficient in the research. Therefore, this article will study the aging rule of recycled asphalt through the anti-aging properties.Aging causes asphalt hard and deterioration of physical and chemical properties. The penetration and ductility gets lower. Softening point and viscosity increases. In the aging process of asphalt, series of pavement performance change is due to microscopic change in the nature. In this study, the major research of different long-term aging state of asphalt in laboratories is group composition, viscosity-temperature properties and the three standard indicators.They have intimate relation with the aging process. Through the influencing factors and the contrast in aging properties between fresh asphalt and recycled asphalt, the aging process variation of recycled asphalt in the long-term nature will be revealed.Through study on affecting factors in the process of aging, recycled asphalt of medium viscosity have higher quality of anti-aging properties than the the recycled asphalt of lower viscosity and higher viscosity. Asphalt of different sources has little effect on the aging performance changes of recycled asphalt. When studying on the aging rule of recycled asphalt, the colloidal instability index Ic of recycled asphalt is always slightly larger than the fresh asphalt and so is the changing amplitude after aging. This can indicate that the anti-aging properties of fresh asphalt is superior than that recycled asphalt, but the performance is declined slightly, not obvious. If the evaluation of asphalt is the three standard indicators, both the recyled asphalt and fresh asphalt will have more and more higher softening point, and penetration and ductility decreasing trend. But compared to the fresh asphalt, recycled asphalt have better high temperature performance. Compared to recycled asphalt, fresh asphalt have better low temperature performance.
