With the acceleration of hydropower development in China, especially with the advancement of the Development of the West Regions of China, a great platform for research and practice of blasting technology development is provided, where some water conservancy hubs and engineering such as the Three Gorges, Long tan, Xiao wan, Jin ping, Nuo zha du, Xi luo du, Xiang jia ba, Gou pi tan, Peng shui Project, Ying pan project, Pu bu gou, La xi wa, Ting zi kou, etc. have been set up.It is inevitable to damage the rock mass in the process of blasting. In order to ensure the safety and stability in the practical projects, we must strictly control the range of blasting damage to make sure that the damage of reserved rock mass and the rock foundation which are close to the range of the contour line of excavation is within the range of the target in design. Therefore, it's a key technology to make sure the range of blasting damage of the reserved rock mass in building hydropower projects, and the research of which is also very significant.This thesis first analyzes the research status and basic theory of the blasting loads form, rock blasting theory model and the theory of rock strength of rock blasting mechanism, at the same time it gives the reactive opinions. It summarizes the blasting damage evaluation criterion used in general blasting engineering. After analyzing the blasting damage at different depth of section with ANSYS/LS-DYNA, it works out the rock blasting damage radius under the circumstances of couple charge blasting in the hole. It simulates the vibration of the rock at different blasting distance and with the help of SPSS software, it makes the peak of effective stress of rock, comparative distance and peak vibrating velocity integrated and puts forward the regression formula, by which we can get the corresponding peak value of the effective stress with the practical measuring of the particle velocity and calculating the relative distance. Finally we can judge the destructive consequences of the reserved rock mass from this aspect by combining the standards of judgment given in the practical engineering. And we demonstrate the simulation results through the practical testing in Xiluodu Engineering Project.The key point or innovation spot of the research in this thesis is that it carries out numerical simulation to the stress wave generated by blasting in rock, reviews objectively the development process of Three-Dimensional Flow Field, creates the the fitting formula between peak effective stress of rock, contrastive distance and peak particle velocity, and carries out relative contrastive analysis in Xi luo du Hydropower Station.
