Fuel Cell is a kind of power generation set which can transform the chemical energy in fuel and oxidant directly into electric energy. Fuel Cell has the advantage of high energy conversion efficiency, less pollution to environment, etc. Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) belongs to the third generation fuel cell. It is an all solid-state set converting chemical energy into electric energy directly, efficiently and environment-friendly at intermediate or high operating temperature. From the energy strategies for sustainable development and the protection of the environment point of view, solid oxide fuel cell has great prospects for developmentis and it is widely considered to be used widespreadly.However, at the present stage, a series of problems caused by high operating temperature are significant factors which obstruct its progress of industrialization. In order to reduce the cost of manufacture and use, plenty of research should be carried on for choosing proper material, confirming thorough preparation technique and finally achieving intermediate temperature operation.The main research of this thesis lies in the synthesis of dopant material in anode functional layer and characterization. And on this basis, explores the preparation process of anode-supported flat type SOFC monomers. At last, and the characterization and evaluation of monocell performance are carried out. Specific tasks are as follows: Chapter 1 outlines research background, purpose and significance of this thesis. It introduce briefly SOFC's characteristic, development history, working principle, structure type, range of application as well as the development status and trends. Finally, the main research objective of this paper is proposed.Chapter 2 introduce the characteristics, functions and requirements of all parts of materials (electrolyte, cathode, anode, connection materials, materials, sealing materials, etc.), as well as the research status of alternative materials. Besides, synthesis process and analysis of SOFC's powders is discussed.Chapter 3 prepares the perovskite materials La0.2Sr0.7TiO3 by sol-gel method, calcination and milling. The powder is analyzed by means of TGA, XRD and so on. Then, appropriate preparation method of this powder is concluded.Chapter 4 firstly introduces and compares all sorts of preparation processes for SOFC membrane. After that, it discusses in detail the preparation processes of SOFC monomers, including anode, electrolyte, cathode barrier layers and cathode. It indicates how all factors influence the cells'performance during tape-casting, printing and sintering, and proposes improvement measure according to those influences. In the end, it confirms a set of SOFC monomers'production process scheme with type-casting and silk-screen printing as its core.Chapter 5 outlines the assembly and performance test of SOFC monomers. The results show that the SOFC monomers prepared have good properties. at the working temperature of 800℃its open-circuit voltage is 1.098V, the maximum power density is 1.1W/cm2 and the maximum current density is 1310mA/cm2.Chapter 6 summarizes the stage accomplishment obtained by far, and proposes problems found in the experiment process and the corresponding measures for improvement. It finally put forward direction for future research prospects.
