The Fuselage assembly is an important part of final assembly, the assembly accuracy of the aircraft fuselage assembly has an important influence to the assembly quality. Tolerance analysis and tolerance optimization is an important tool to optimize the assembly process, and improve the assembly quality, which have drawn great attention of academic area. The traditional tolerance analysis and tolerance allocation methods depend on the knowledge and experience, has been unable to meet the growing need of aircraft manufacturing field and therefore a more accurate and efficient tools of tolerance analysis is required. This articles mainly focusing on the fuselage assembly. The deterministic positioning tolerance analysis method is introduced to study the positioning datum of fuselage assembly, optimization of the aircraft fuselage tolerance allocation and to study the position adjustment in the assembly session of aircraft fuselage and other key technologies, which have been used in multiple cases of fuselage assembly. The main contents are as follows:(1) The establishment of deterministic tolerance analysis modelDeterministic positioning tolerance analysis can simulate the fuselage assembly error accumulation in the assembly process, and establish a calculation model between the positioning error and the manufacturing errors. In order to verify the accuracy of deterministic localization tolerance analysis, the paper use Deterministic positioning tolerance analysis to the nose and forward fuselage assembly case of homemade aircraft, and a VSA tolerance analysis models were established, and the calculation results were compared, indicating that Deterministic positioning tolerance analysis method is computational accuracy.(2) The tolerance allocation technology of fuselage assemblyBased on the tolerance analysis model, take the front fuselage assembly as a example, using deterministic positioning tolerance analysis technology to determine the tolerance allocation solution to all levels. According to the control requirements, we can determine the tolerance of each part, and use VSA to establish a tolerance model to verify the correctness of the results and the credibility of deterministic method.(3) The datum Selection of Large parts assembly of the aircraftThe different positioning datum and process have great influence to the fuselage assembling accuracy. Different datum selection have different tolerance analysis model. With the help of evaluation function of assembly quality, choose the most suitable process for the particular case of the fuselage assembly and assembly process.(4) Tolerance optimization of aircraft Large parts assemblyUse deterministic tolerance analysis method instead of dimension chain to count the tolerance plan determined by experience and knowledge, in the process of tolerance design. And when the tolerance plan is not suitable, we can change the composition according to the influence factor to meet the quality requirements.In summary, this article is mainly focusing on the fuselage assembly, using deterministic analysis method in the area of aircraft manufacture to improve the accuracy of Fuselage assembly and makes the process of tolerance design more convenient.
