Power system online monitoring and assessment is of great importance with the realization and gradually strengthening of national grid interconnecting in China. Construction of online security analysis, monitoring, warning and coordinated control system, has become the development direction of power system dispatching technology.This thesis combines with the techniques of power system visualization and parallel computing, work of this thesis is to design, program, code the"Power System Online security Analysis System", and achieve the function of monitoring and online computing. Main work is as follows:Firstly, functional and detail designing for the visualization of graphic platform and online computing is given according to user's requirements.Secondly, a general graphics platform is realized to show the grid's operation informations and analysis results, the graphics platform using the visualization technology supports multiple visual displays, including basic data visualization, calculation results visualization, warming information tips, et al.Thirdly, a database based distributed parallel computing platform is realized to do multiple tasks simultaneously, which improves the computational efficiency. The system has been successfully integrated into the online assessment and visualization system for Tianjin power system. It is revealed that this software can timely and accurately analysis the power grid operation, meet the requirements of power system online analysis software.
