Self-compacting concrete (SCC) can consolidate under its own weight without any vibration in conventional construction, it has good workability, reducing noise and the labors'intensity, based on these advantages, the self-compacting concrete is becoming more and more popular as the new concrete material, researchers put more and more investigation on it.Based on the finite element analysis of common concrete, this paper analyzes the self-compacting concrete, particularly, discusses the beam and frame joint, intending to find the rational model, failure criterion, yield criterion, constitutive relation for the analysis.Having finished analyzing five beams and five joints of the self-compacting concrete, this paper provides the contrast of the beams'load deflection curve, cracking load, yielding load, limiting load and the pictures of the beams'cracks distribution , deformation, axial stress distribution of the tensile reinforcement; It obtains the joints'contrast of load deflection curve by analyzing and experimental skeleton curve. Giving the process of crack distribution in the core area, it shows the differences of the load deflection curve, the cracks in the core area under different axial load ratios. The conclusion is that the limiting load and end-column vertical cracks around the core area increase with the axial load ratios. And the sensible shear capacity of SCC frame joint is formulated by regression analysis. The finite element analysis through ANSYS can get the data and phenomena which can't via experiment, such as the stress distribution of the reinforcement, the data are deeply analyzed combined with the experiment. The analyzed results correspond with the test value, which demonstrates the selected models being sound. From this, how various parameters affect the limiting load can be studied, which will not only reduces the workload, but also the thorough research is feasible.
