Solar energy is a kind of huge, renewable and environment-friendly green energy. Thus solar energy has the unique advantage in the exploiting of new energy resources.However, photovoltaic generation has low conversion efficiency based on the current technology limited. Increasing the conversion efficiency is a key problem to the implication of solar energy and it's necessary to found a practical method to improve the generation efficiency of solar energy. It is demonstrated that the generation efficiency of solar energy is closely related to the angle between solar energy plate and sunbeam. The generation efficiency of solar energy can be considerably increased when solar energy plate perpendicular to sunbeam.This paper propose a auto-tracking method to solove the problem of how to increasing the generation efficiency of solar energy. This method increases the generation efficiency of solar energy by real-time tracking the trace of the sun and adjusting the angle of solar energy plate and keeping the generation photosurface perpendicular to sunbeam.The main works of this paper are presented as follows: firstly, a sensor which inductive the migration of the lights and fit the whole print is designed based on the analytical results. Then, to ensure the auto-tracking system runing, a mechanical structure of two axis transmission based on the change of spatial position is fabricated and a dynamic control device based on the automatic following require is fabricated . Finally, the program based on RS232 is compiled to controling the system in cases the light sensor actual effect in bad weather.The whole system is runing well in the testing, and the auto-tracking solar energy generation is realized.
