Abstract/Summary:
With the development of the social economy and the deepening of the process ofurbanization, people become to pay attention on the urban public transport industry.Vehicular teminalis an important part of the public transport system, which is relation to people's daily life. Tooptimize the design of high-speed and small-oriented hardware terminal rationally, which is notonly able to provide quality services to the passengers, but also improve the level of the publictransportation management.This paper proposed an overall vision for hardware developmentplatform used Cadence tools and ARM7 microprocessoron ,based on the analysis of thedevelopment of EDA technologies and vehicular terminal.This paper first analyzed the system's functional requirements, then proposed an overalldesign framework of the vehicular terminal with W90P710 core processors. It described theworking principle of the hardware modules in detail,including power circuit, memory circuits(SDRAM circuit module and FLASH circuit module ), JTAG interface circuit, audio circuit,LCM circuit, GPS circuit, the peripheral circuits of CPU (clock circuit, reset circuit, SD cardinterface circuit, UART circuit, IR decoding circuit, keyboard interface circuit, USB Interfacecircuit).This hardware system used the design method of high-speed PCB .It focused on the designof high-speed circuit board layout and routing, as well as how to reduce signal reflection andcrosstalk effects and reduce electromagnetic interference.It carried out a study and analysis indetail to the differential routing and SDRAM routing of high-speed circuit board, especially thehigh-speed signal routing between CPU and SDRAM. With the help of SPECCTRAQuestsimulation software, the paper done some signal integrity simulation test for the key network ofthe high-speed system. Through the simulation analysis, it ensured the accuracy of the system'swork timing, and effectively enhanced the stability of the system while running.Finally, after designed the PCB board, we done board welding and debugging. The systemworked properly with stable performance. Practice has proved that it could greatly shorten the hardware design cycle and reduce development cost with powerful Cadence tools, which hassome practical significance. It also shows that Cadence tools is important to the high-speedhardware circuit design.
