The industry of photovolatic generation is one of the most important parts of the utilization of new energy resources with bright developing prospect, because of its innate advantages, the researchers all over the world have paid much attention to it. In the modern photovolatic generation system, the strategy of power management is becoming an indispensable part of it. Therefore, the design of battery discharging module, which can realize the function of power management, is a topic worth studying.This paper demonstrated a design solution of combined DC/DC converter based on the topology of push-pull forward converter. The key point of such design solution is to realize the high power output under the circumstance of low voltage-high voltage DC/DC converter. And the paper concentrated on the design of hardware and software in the battery discharging module and how to collaborate with other modules of the photovolatic generation system. Firstly, after analysis and comparison of the common topologies of DC/DC converter, this paper discussed about the design solution of whole module and ,in accordance with the practical needs, improved the traditional topology of push-pull forward converter; then in terms of the design of software and hardware ,this paper elaborate on the design and implementation of the battery discharging module; Finally , this paper show the test results of the experimental prototype and bring forward an assumption of tentative plan to improve the comprehensive performance.Through simulation and test, the design solution is proved to be reasonable and feasible and to meet the design requirements of discharging module .The hardware design ensure the expected output power and the software designed can perform the functions as expected. The whole discharging module is stable and reliable and can be used as the prototype of discharging module of photovolatic generation system.
