In the low-power applications of electric drive field, single-phase induction motor plays an important role for its advantages of low-cost, simple structure and easy maintenance etc. For the single-phase motor with split-phase capacitor, because of the split-phase capacitor parameter is closely related to the designed motor speed, when the motor speed changes, the motor running performance will be greatly affected.Therefore, the split-phase capacitor is removed,and the single-phase induction motor can be equivalent to two-phase induction motor. Combining with the power electronics technology and modern control theory, researching the variable frequency speed regulating technology is an ideal way to improve the performance of single-phase motor. The emergence of digital signal processors, precise mathematical model of induction motor and various advanced control strategies greatly promote the development of single-phase motor speed regulating, and create the conditions for high-performance single-phase motor speed regulating.This paper first establishs the mathematical model of single-phase induction motor.For the asymmetrical features of single-phase motor winding, this paper use the coordinate transformation theory to deduce the motor model under different coordinate systems.The space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) implementation methodology and the implementation of vector control strategies are researched.The impact on the magnetic field orientation when the rotor resistance changes is analyzed deeply in this paper.According to the model reference adaptive theories, the current model,voltage model,the resistance and speed are respectively considered as the adjustable model,the reference model,the adjustable parameters. And the adaptive model is established, the on-line identification method of resistance and speed is deduced. In this paper, the resistance on-line identification and single-phase motor speed sensorless vector control simulation models are established through MATLAB, the two models are simulated and researched.This paper adopts the Microchip digital signal processor DSPIC30F4011 dedicated to motor control as the control chip, and designs the single-phase induction motor speed sensorless vector control speed regulation system. The control software is also designed, the SVPWM experimental waveforms are given in the paper. The experimental results preliminary verify the correctness of design methodology.
