The paper discusses the dynamics and control problem of a kind of high-level flexible aircraft. With the increase of the dynamic pressure and the decrease of the fremwork stiffness, the future high speed,large aircraft has to be consided as a elastic body, whose first aeroelastic frequency is so low that merges into the short-period mode. After andding of the elastic degree of freedom and the unsteady aerodynamics model, the flight vehicle will be presented as a high order model. Conpare with the traditional one, the aeroelastic vehicle will be more complex in flying quality estimation,the dynamics analysis and the flying control. First of all, the paper researches the model-reduction technic for the elastic vehicle, and analizes the structural distortion effect to the flying quality. After that, as the aeroelastic vehicle is with bad robustness and hard to obtain the flying quality, the model-following and H∞mixed-sensitivity synthesis approach is applied to obtain a flight control law, which also deals with the aroelastic effect. The groups of weight functions can been chosen to trade-off in the flying quality, disturbance rejection and the robustness. The result shows that this approach meets the multiple demands of the flexible aircraft control.
