Abstract/Summary:
Over the years, soil structure interaction problem has always been an importantresearch topic in geotechnical engineering, such as high earth -rock dams of thebuilding, subgrade of high-speed railway and the treatment of soft ground such asgravel cushion. It could not simply consider the characteristics of sand-stone cushionand the structure when analysis the interaction of sand-stone cushion and the structure,the mechanical behavior of the contact interface of the gravel and the structure mustbe taken seriously. In addition to force transmission on the interface, there also has therelative displacement and other non-continuous deformation behavior, therefore, themechanical characteristics of the interface between the soil and structure need to beproperly described and the design should be reasonable, and avoid the loss of carryingcapacity or functions of the structure caused by excessive relative displacement orstress concentration.This paper made research work in the following areas and achieved initialprogress:1. Complete large single shear test of sand gravel and the concrete slab'sinterface. During the test, on account of the large size, scattered granular fracture andother characteristics of the gravel sample, I improved the stack-ring's height andexternal fixed structure of the original stack-ring test equipment by myself, compactthe gravel sample in the stack rings, and the previous difficulties of gravel shear testare overcame and successfully completed.2. In large-scale shear test of sand gravel and the concrete slab's interface,investigate the influence of normal stress, particle size distribution, interfaceroughness, grain size and the sample's height on the mechanical properties ofinterface, analysis the variation of the relationship of shear stress and tangential displacement and the variation of shear strength parameters, sum up the basicdeformation characteristics of sand-stone cushion and structure's interface underdifferent influence factors.3. Based on the large single shear test of sand gravel cushion and the concreteslab's interface, determine the calculating element's thickness of each contact surface,analyze the form of interface element, propose an interface constitutive modelaccording to the law revealed by the test that the deformation contains the sheardeformation and slip deformation, and give the solution of the parameters in theconstitutive equation, and it has engineering practical significance.
