With emphasis on safety and car safety technology, automotive active safety technology will be the main future direction of automotive safety technology. The vehicle driving state parameters for the vehicle detection system is a state of active safety systems arising from the acquisition system parameters. This system will provide the longitudinal speed, yaw rate and sideslip angle other vehicle was in the state parameters. As a supporting system for active safety systems, the vehicle driving state parameters for the vehicle detection system has a very important application value and practical significance.Mentioned in this paper that the acquisition system can provide real-time vehicle active safety systems in the vehicle traveling state of the process parameters can also be collected and estimated parameters of the raw data stored in order for the design of active safety systems in the provision of raw data. Since the acquisition system is based on data stored in the form of common format for storage, so this system has great versatility and flexibility.The project focuses on the design parameters of the vehicle running state detection system, using the ARM embedded microcontrollers and inertial sensing unit on the vehicle was tested in the state parameters, estimated by the Kalman filter algorithm running state parameters for active safety systems parameters. The hardware design of the ARM core embedded system board and backplane can be achieved integrated buzzer and LED light indication, LCD prompt display, keyboard settings control switch, SD card data storage; software acquisition system in all the appropriate driver module and collection procedures and Kalman filter algorithm. Verify the performance of this system by multi-platform static testing and real vehicle dynamic testing.Purpose of this dissertation is: multi-sensor data fusion for active safety system designed to provide real-time data, further complicated by environmental testing for later laid the necessary foundation.
