At present refrigerators' in possession exceeded 200millions and increased at the rate of 50 millions a year. The power consumption of the refrigerators makes up half of the total consumption of the household appliances and the total refrigerators' power consumption of the country is close to the gross generation of 3 gorge hydroelectric station. So the research and application of the efficient refrigerators is inner requirement of the energy saving and environmental protection.At present the energy conservation research on refrigerators is base on the improvement of the compressor and the thickening of the foaming, in this two fields the refrigerators manufacturers obtain great effects. But there is no more spaces in the improvement of the compressor and the thickening of the foaming, in the present manufacturing levels improve the compressor and thicken the foaming will large enhance the price of refrigerators, so we must research the new way of energy conservation.The most radical question of the refrigerators wall-hung condenser is the low efficiency of heat conduction. Base on the low efficiency of the refrigerators wall-hung condenser and the intermittent work characteristic of the refrigerators, we invent a new style refrigerators condenser named shape-stabilized phase change material refrigerators condenser, this new condenser can store up the quantity of heat that the condenser pipe can not dissipate on time and dissipate the heat when the refrigerator was out of work. The shape-stabilized phase change material refrigerators condenser makes full use of the time of the refrigerator out of work, enhance the time of the dissipation.The model of the shape-stabilized phase change material refrigerators condenser and the same standard refrigerators wall-hung condenser were made. The heat-transfer character of the shape-stabilized phase change material refrigerators condenser was studied by experiment. The shape-stabilized phase change material refrigerators condenser and refrigerators wall-hung condenser were compared on lots of working condition. The conclusion is that the quantity of heat dissipation of the shape-stabilized phase change material refrigerators condenser is 28 percent more than the refrigerators wall-hung condenser on the on/off ratio of 1:1, the temperature of the shape-stabilized phase change material refrigerators condenser are more uniformity, the temperature of the shape-stabilized phase change material refrigerators condenser can be controlled under the phase transformation points. The shape-stabilized phase change material refrigerators condenser was applied to refrigerators, and the experimental prototype was made with the Midea .A lots of power consumption experiment and inside box temperature experiment were made on the experimental prototype. The test result indicates that the inside box temperature of experimental prototype can meet with the 3 star level national standard, the power consumption of the experimental prototype is 10 percent lower than the prototype.
