In recent years, energy shortages are all over the world, environmental pollution become worse and worse. The structure of chinese energy is "more coal, less oil and gas shortage", which impedes our coutry's sustained and rapid economic growth greatly. During the brown coal pyrolysing there is a large amount of pyrolysis gas, the calorific value of which is very low (LHV is about 1200 ~ 1500kJ/kg). For the result of harsh conditiong of ignition and stable combustion, the pyrolysis gas is discharged directly in a long period of time. To alleviate tension in China's energy, control pollution of low calorific value gas and make good use of low calorific value of gas resources, research and development a efficient and clean combustion technology has an important economic, social and environmental benefits. In this paper the author simulates high and low calorific value gas by using nitrogen mixing in liquefied petroleum gas, and then mixes high calorific value gas into low calorific value gas combustion to achieve utilizing the low calorific value gas. Base on the principle of Grading fire in recirculation zone, we design a new type of burner, do experimental research fuel combustion characteristics and changes in different swirl-flow intensity of air and vary angle of fuel outlet, and obtain a optimal burner structure, which is applicable to combustion of low calorific value gas. Under that conditions, the pyrolysis gas, which calorific value is 1200kJ/kg can combust stability, the heat providing rate between high and low calorific value gas is 21:79. At the same time do a comparative experiment using the acetylene instead of liquefied petroleum gas, the study finds that even at the same calorific value, the combustion effect of acetylene gas is better than liquefied petroleum gas, an analysis reveals the principle of different fuel`s burning characteristic. All these provide a good reference for the technology engineering application. At last, combination actual engineering, the author analyses the feasibility of three schemes of Lignite-Low calorific value gas combustion. Analyst believes that the use of Oxygen-containing flue gas with low calorific value lignite gas combustion has a good practicality and economical efficiency, as well as designes of a corresponding experimental program, which provided a good basis for further research.
