Distribution system is the directly connected part of the whole power system to power customs. Its reliability is concerned by power utility and power customs. Meanwhile,with the worsening of the energy crisis and environmental problems, Distributed Generation(DG) technology has been very good developed due to more and more attention given by the State and power supply enterprise. As DG is usually installed near the power user's side,it will have a huge impact on Distribution system. Those reasons make it significant to study on the reliability of distribution system connecting DG. Aiming at the characteristics of distribution system and the influence of DG access to distribution system,this thesis makes thorough and systematic studies on reliability algorithm of distribution system connecting DG. The main contents are as follows.1. Put forward a kind of distribution system reliability algorithm based on number method and Monte-Carlo simulation. According to the characteristics of distribution network open-loop operation and the difference of the switch function of distribution network,we convert the complicated distribution network structure into a group of numbers. At the same time,combining the sequential Monte-Carlo simulation with number method,a kind of effective reliability algorithm is formed.2. Analyse and summarize the characteristics of DG and the influence of DG access to distribution system.3. Put forward a distribution system reliability algorithm considering of DG. Aiming at the influence of DG access to distribution system,the conditions of DG, which adopts different operation modes, and the situations of system,which adopts different forms of scheduling,we introduce a reliability calculation model of DG, and bring forward a distribution system reliability algorithm considering of DG.4. Validate these methods using several samples. In this paper,we test the distribution system reliability algorithm,which is based on numbers of distribution system and Monte-Carlo simulation,by IEEE RBTS BUS6 testing system. Then,we add several DGs to the testing system,and verify the developed algorithm by the improved testing system. As we expected,test results approve the effectiveness of the method proposed in this paper.
