As one form of renewable energy, wind power is the most mature renewable power generation technology and developed rapidly in recent years. More and more countries pay attention to improve wind power generation techniques. Good operating performance of the DFIG wind power generation technology has become research focus. This paper addresses the issues related to the control theory and simulation of DFIG wind power generation system, with the followed research folds. First, the wind power system model is summarized, specifying the aerodynamic system, wind turbine shaft system, pitch control system and frequency converter. Then the double-fed generator mathematical model is built. The voltage, flux, power, torque expression of DFIG is detailed derived, and the control theory of DFIG rotor and grid side converters are discussed. And then the field oriented control of DFIG gird-connection control strategy is studied and taken simulation analysis. Last the aerodynamic, DFIG and control system are built, founded an integrated dynamic simulation model of double-fed wind power generation system. According to the operating characteristic, the dynamic model is validated by simulation. A solution is described that makes it possible for doubly-fed induction generators to stay connected to the grid during grid faults. The Crowbar protection is discussed and taken the simulation analysis of power gird during fault. Examples of application are shown to confirm its effectiveness to meet the requirements of LVRT.
