Now, flood losses, which were often seen in china, are the highest of the natual disaster loss in the world. Constantly strengthen constructions and management of the flood control project, and the taken of the non-engineering measures were proposed for reducing the flood loss. However, in the scopes of control for river course and water basin, more projects, such as roads and bridges which would affect flood control, were constructed with the rapid growth of social economy. Therefore, the flood control impact assessment for the projects of new building, extending and reconstructing is necessary in the scopes of control for river course and water basin, which can promote the effective management of river, ensure the river safety, and guarantee the economic development, protect the safeties of lives and property of the people. According to the designs of the roads and crossing bridges for the Zhong Hu Road Project in HengShui city, the flood control impacts were assessed on the constructions of roads and bridges. The main research contents and conclusion analysis are as follows:based on the design of the FuDongpai bridge, 2D mathematical model was used to calculate the submerged flood level at the FuDongpai river and around。The raised value of water level and the backwater length for the FuDongpai river, theminimum allowed bottom elevation and so on were calculated by using corresponding formulas in case the bridge had been built. The results indicated that the demands of the length and the minimum allowed bottom elevation were all not met.
