The hypersonic glide vehicle is a new maneuverable vehicle for the long-range precise strike mission or military delivering. A lot of key techniques are involved with the hypersonic glide vehicle, and in this paper the trajectory constraints, the flight corridor, the onboard trajectory generation and tracking and the predictor-corrector guidance are studied. The guidance design methods may be classified into two main categories: nominal trajectory-based techniques and on-line trajectory prediction schemes. In the first approach, a reference trajectory is defined prior to the mission, and during the flight the differences between the desired and observed actual trajectory are input to a controller that keep the vehicle close to the nominal trajectory. The predictive guidance concepts propagate the future trajectory based on current flight states to calculate the control input during the remaining light. Taking advantage of the increased computational capabilities of advanced avionic systems, the predictive guidance concepts will act more superior performance. This paper addresses the study of reentry guidance for the hypersonic glide vehicle, which has done the following researches: Firstly, the flight corridor is created based on the entry trajectory constraint, and the factors which affect the flight corridor are analyzed. Secondly, aiming at the entry guidance problem under various trajectory constrains and terminal conditions, an on-board reference trajectory generation method was proposed, and then linear quadratic regulator (LQR) was designed to track the longitudinal reference trajectory. Lateral guidance was realized by using bank-reversal strategy with the aid of the azimuth error corridor. The dissertation has some theoretical significance in extending the research domain of nominal trajectory-based techniques and exploring the on-board trajectory generation and tracking. So the method has some theoretical and practical significance.
