In the mechanical transmission system, torque,speed and power measurementare common items of the rotating power equipment, and torque measurement is thekey method of study on rotating mechanical products under various loads.It is difficult to measure torque of high-speed rotating machinery, a new methodof torque measurement is presented, especially in high-speed system. Thismeasurement system combined with grating and frequency conversion controller, forthe constant speed difference of rotor and sensor shaft, controlling frequencyconverter when the speed of sensor shaft up, so the accuracy of system is promised.This measurement system based on Filed Programmable Gate Array in signalprocessing, single-chip microprocessor in data processing and frequency convertercontrolling, and realize non-contract torque measurement in high-speed system.By analyzing the experiment results of measurement system, the main errors ofthis system are received. They are signal processing,electric conversion,concentricityand uneven of the grating and nonlinearity of the sensor shaft. The nonlinearity errorof the sensor shaft is determined by their nature. Disposal methods for the sources oferrors are presented, they are theoretical basis for the measurement system to improveits function.
