Since the 16th CPC national congress opened, the construction of China's high-speed railway has been in full swing, mutually adapt to with this, the modernization construction of railway station is launched nationwide. The research on the design of maintaining and arrangement of construction provides references to the similar projects.The construction of large railway station has its own distinct characteristics, such as the construction, companied with exploration and design, has to be finished in urgent time. As the hub of communications, station equiped with square, railway stands and municipal services way constructed simultaneously, lies in the center of city, under which the subway goes through.The construction of railway station refers to interface and overlapping, which could not be finished without many conditions. Many railway stations involve the protection and the change of lines. Pits maintaining, distinguished from the monomer project, needs to design and constuct combining with its characteristics.This thesis discusses the priciples of design on maintaining foundationpit of the Hub Project of Hangzhou East Railway Station, summarizes experience accumulated in the process of design and construction, and expounds the core techniques of the selection of pits maintaining design, construction, test and assessment.
