It is introduced that several common approaches about bridges structure inspection from home and abroad. It is targeted at the civil structure dynamic character, which is studied by the way of mode, and then several average mode ways are introduced in detail. It is mainly studied that the mode parameter identification of bridge structure under the simple stimulation environment.Firstly, it is systematically introduced that the frequency domain of mode parameter identification under environmental stimulus and the way of peak picking is mainly discussed in the paper. In addition, the way of peak picking is proved.Secondly, it is introduced that several common mode ways. It is chiefly introduced that the ITD way, its algorithm is studied and it is discussed that the feasibility about its application to the civil structure. And it is demonstrated that the wavelet transformation of mode parameter identification. It is calculated that the mode and phase of the multi-degree of freedom damping vibration system. It is studied that threshold denoising of wavelet and the process of wavelet singularity test in the paper. Then bridge reversing signal is detected about the singularity.Finally, it is applied that mode parameter identification to the engineering. The real bridge is tested about the'appearance structure, static load inspection as well as dynamic load inspection. The inherent frequency and damping ratio of bridge is calculated by the way of ITD, and compared with the theoretical result. Dynamic load inspection is targeted at the accelerated signal of the bridge and the prior signal is processed. Then the inherent frequency is calculated, compared with the theoretical result and relative error is acquired. The experiment results show that the mode analysis based on wavelet is better than other ones.
