To protect the land for urban development, all kinds of reasonable arrangements for urban land use and industrial sectors to achieve sustainable land use and construction of economical use of land intensive to carry out urban land use planning is particularly important. Use advanced,adaptable approach to applied research, by simulating the dynamic evolution of urban land use trends, forecast future urban area and the evolution of land use direction for the city to provide a reliable basis for land use planning.The city is a complex system of the external expansion and evolution of land use within the system simulation involving natural, social, economic and other aspects, how to define conversion rules and model structure is very complex. Cellular automata (CA)'s framework is simple, open, and can simulate complex system behavior and other characteristics, the use of CA model in the evolution of urban land use for urban crawling system simulation study provides a new way and method in the dynamic simulation of urban land use.Ka shi is located in the upper part of the large topographic control of the whole terrain from north to south end of the special geographical position. In recent years, with rapid economic development, urban expansion is more typical. Meanwhile, preferential policies from country to country, it has been classified as special economic zones in Ka shi City. The development foreground is vast, Nature development and policy influence keep both important, and it is an ideal place that can carry on city's emulation. Therefore, apply to the land in Ka Shi City to this model exploitation dynamic state to evolve medium, imitate the city of that city development process, reasonable estimate future should the land of the city make use of condition, provided reasonable valid of suggestion for its city development programming. in the meantime, it can also examination the usefulness and general use of this model. This paper introduces a dynamic evolution model of urban land utilization, based on ANN and CA. The main problem of CA modeling is to define the complex spatial varieties and parameters, in order to determine the conversion regulations. The research area is trained by ANN, in order to acquire the modeling features automatically. Models are based on Matlab platform and are applied practically on the urban of Ka shi, which constitutes the dynamic evolution model of land utilization. Because this method can obtain high precision study, and can accurately simulate the process of urban development and predict the future development of the city ,it can provide a reliable basis for urban planning.
