Research On Axial Force Test And Axial Force Balanced Improved Design Of Multistage Centrifugal Pump

Multistage small flow centrifugal pump produces the larger axial force during running, if measures aren't taken to balance the axial force, the axial force would affect the operation stability and reliability of the pump, reduce pump's working life, even cause serious consequences. The axial force should be confirmed before making balance of centrifugal pump axial force. The theoretical method, experimental test method and numerical simulation method is currently the main method to get axial force. Balance dish is one of the most common balance centrifugal pump axial force structure.This research focus on improving three-level small flow centrifugal fire-extinguishing pump. Firstly, it use the traditional theoretical calculation method to calculate the axial force of pump and the axial force of the CFD simulation,then analyze them to determine the axial force;Secondly, According to the pump's internal institutions, it is designed force measurement elastic elements and used ANSYS to analyze mechanical components elastic elements. On the base of elastic elements, it find the best position to complete the strain gages force measurement of the static calibration of components elastic. Then designs whole axial force test system. Finally, according to the existing research on numerical simulation results, the balance device is designed to improve the pump. After a prototype in production, tests the three-level centrifugal pump efficiency, head and flow property parameters, and tests axial forceof original pump and the pump with balancing mechanism. According to the test results, discusses relationship between multistage centrifugal pump's axial force and capacity, head and so on. It is proved the validity of the test system, balancing mechanism centrifugal pump axial force has certain reduced, and the service life of the pump is improved.
