Development Of Data Management System In The Relay Protection Measurement Apparatus Testing And Analyzing Device

Relay protection measurement apparatus testing and analyzing device is special equipment used for calibrating the relay protection tester. Data management system is specially designed software for data management on the testing and analyzing device. Due to miscellaneous signal and enormous parameters in operation of device, there are a lot of data information needs to be processed. Therefore, on the development of the relay protection testing and analyzing device, it is significant necessary to build a high-performance data management system for improving the data management function of the device.On the basis of understanding the functions of the relay protection tester and analyzing device, a scheme of data management design is presented in this paper. By using the free LabSQL toolkit and Access database, the connection between the database and LabVIEW is realised an independent data management system with original software is developed. This data management system includes three functional units, which are data management, report lists management and record wave files management unit. Which accomplish lookup, moldificaion and playback functions respectively for the test data, report lists, and recorded wave files stored during the operation of device so as to achieve integrated management for the test data, test reports, and recorded wave files.Experiment on data management system shows that the software has realized all design functions quickly and accurately, and has good functional complementation with the original testing device software. The interface of software are friend and easy to use. So the management efficiency of test data has been improved and the overall performance of the original relay tester device has been enhanced.
