Nuclear reactor coolant pump, called as the "Heart" of the reactor, is the equipment which provides the power to transfer the coolant and dissipate the heat. At present, the manufacture of nuclear main pump core technology monopoly of the few countries. The progress of nuclear power in china has been delayed for the lack of the design and manufacturing technology. In order to achieve the level of domestic manufacture of the reactor coolant pump, the software CFX was used to simulate the three-dimensional flow through full passage of one nuclear coolant pump based on RNG k -εturbulence model. The pressure distribution of the flow on the impeller surface is obtained.Wear-rings of impeller have great influence to the performance of reactor coolant pump. In this thesis, the influence of the variety of the front wear-ring to the reactor coolant pump's function, inner flow, axial-force and radial-force was analyzed. Studies show that, the function of the pump all descend and axial-force increased by the accretion of the clearance of the wear-ring.Comparative several cases of modal analysis, is not difficult to find that the centrifugal force and flow field pressure on the nuclear dynamics of the main pump impeller has little effect on the dynamic characteristics of the damping fluid greater impact.
