By using finite element analysis (FEA) method, prestressed concrete composite box girder with corrugated steel web's creep effect, partial load effect, the shear lag effect, and other special mechanical properties are mainly researched in this paper. In addition, through the practical bridge test, the stress and deformation of prestressed concrete composite box girder with corrugated steel web's key section in the completed bridge stage are observed and the self-vibration characteristics of it are also analyzed in this paper.The creep effect of composite simple box girder of corrugated steel web is analyzed by using ANSYS/CivilFEM software; the calculating results are compared with the equivalent concrete box girder in this paper. The analysis results indicate that composite simply supported box girder with corrugated steel web's mid-span deflection caused by creep is bigger than the concrete box girder. However, there is no big difference about the pre-stress loss caused by creep between two of them.On the research of partial load effect, the four real bridge's finite element models are established to analyze and compare the partial load coefficient of key sections under the partial live load in this paper. The calculation results are shown as follows:Firstly, the partial load coefficient along the longitudinal direction is not a constant and the numerical values in the fulcrum sections are often larger. Secondly, the shear stress amplification coefficient of composite box girder with corrugated a steel web which under the live load is larger than the corresponding normal stress amplification coefficient.This paper focuses on the shear lag effect of simply supported box girder with corrugated steel webs, whose cross section is single-box double room or double box single room. The calculation results show that the regularity of distribution of the shear lag coefficient along the transverse direction on single-box double room section is different from the coefficient on double box single room section. On the contrary, the regularity of distribution along the longitudinal direction about the two different sections is the same.
