The Analysis Of Entrance Space Design Of Underground Commercial Buildings In Urban Centers

With the rapid development of the city, the urban land is increasingly lacking and various kinds of urban contradictions become salient. Especially in urban centers, there are a series of problems becoming more serious, which puts a lot of pressure on regional development. In this situation, the constructions of underground commercial buildings become an effective way to solve these problems. Therefore, the entrance space of underground commercial buildings is put forward a higher requirement. The interaction and cohesion between entrance space and urban public space appears more important, not only as a single access. The design of entrance space of underground commercial building plays a key role in urban centers design, and it promotes the harmonious development of urban centers.This thesis is composed by five parts. The contents of the first chapter mainly include the background, object, scope, purpose and meaning of the study, and the research methods and framework system. In the second chapter, I define the concept of entrance space of underground commercial buildings in urban centers, and do some research on the theory of urban landscape, urban public space, life between buildings and behavioural psychology etc. And then analyse problems of entrance space of underground commercial buildings in urban centers combining some cases. The study of function, form and locality, and the analysis of relationship between entrance space and urban public space is included in the next chapter. The contents of the fourth chapter mainly include the study of entrance space design on the base of the actual investigation cases to support the argument of this thesis. The last chapter draws methods of the design of entrance space of underground commercial buildings in urban centers, combining with the analysis of the former research achievements.In this paper, some effective methods of entrance space design of underground commercial buildings in urban centers are summed up through the study on cohesion and interaction of entrance space and urban public space. The results of the study may broaden the minds of designers to plan and design entrance space of underground commercial buildings, and also enlighten the related design in the future.
