| Natural landscape is a unique ecological factor for an urban city, and it is also a non-renewable resource for the the country. In fact, there are many river valley cities scatered in the hilly-gullies loess region of the west part of the China, and all these cities have their own natural landscape characters.As the rapid development of the urbanization in mailand China, Natural landscape has been estranged from the urban cities. The equilibrium of the original ecosystem has been distrubed, and these cities have lost the unique characteristics throughout this estrangement. This study is going to focus on this situation as a background, to explore the continuance of natural landscape in the urban spaces construction through the overall design level.In this thesis, first, the author intend to introduce the relevant thoughts, theories, and case studies about the ecological cities from at home and abroad, in order to capture the development tendency and the relevant theories in this area, and to apply it to this study of natural landscape in modern city design. Second, to analyze the characteristics of the natural landscape in China western river valley cities and the relationship between the natural landscape and the overall city design, and to conclude the characteristics and the current situation of the natural landscape in the river valley cities in the western part of China. Moreover, to propose the techniques of the embodyment and the reflection of natural landscape in the contemporary city design. Finally, with'the Overall City Design-- Lin Tao County" (Gan Su Province), the author will introduce these techniques in practice. |
