Given the economic and practical characteristics, cold recycling technology has been widely recommended, becoming one of the most popular road maintenance ways of the whole world. Cold recycling technology is introduced to China the present situation that more and more freeways are needed to maintain or rebuild. Compared with the western countries, the research on cold recycling asphalt pavement is started late in our country, many key techniques still require fresh investigation until now. Especially, a blank space in the structural design of cold recycling pavements greatly limits the practical use of this technology. In the paper, basing on the mechanical analysis and lab experiment, combining with the actual situation in our country, the author discussed the materials classification and the principal design indexes of cold recycling asphalt pavement, and developed a comprehensive method for the structural design of cold reclaimed asphalt pavement.Based on the destructive mechanism of asphalt pavement, the thesis compared the recycling base and the-regid base, advanced the pavement maintenance and rehabilitation technology:asphalt pavement cold recycling, which can resolve the early destroy problem on the present pavement, restore the structural integrity, and prolong the service life of the pavement.The materials classification system provides a critical link between the mix and structural design, and construction quality control checks. The determination of material classer is a critical aspect of the structural design process, since this process dffectively determines the structural design inputs. The paper provide a consistent method classified by ITS.Utilizing the finite element method, calculate and analyze the mechanical responses of the typical asphalt pavement structure with the recycling base. Identify the sensitivity in the deflection, structural stress, the fatigue life of recycling base and semi-rigid base under the overload of asphalt pavement. In addition, calculated and analyzed the variation tendency of the mechanical properties of the typical asphalt pavement structure by orthogonal test.According to the flexible pavement design method of domestic and foreigh, proposed the reasonable graded cold recycling asphalt pavement structural design methods which suits our country. Based on the design indexes, put forward the nomogram for the rational thickness of recycling base, and the mechanics method of thickness calculation.Finally, it is succeeded to apply the method to design and construct a cold recycling asphalt pavement of the Hui-He highway cold recycling maintenance, to evaluate the pavement condition index and structure strength index before reclamation, compare the representative deflection before and after reclamation, and analyze the regeneration effects and applicability of cold recycling pavement. |
