Nowadays, with the rapid increase of vehicle in use, the gasoline-powered automobiles would produce quite consumption and emissions, therefore, energy saving and emission reduction became a major issue that urgently need to be solved in car industries. Because of automotive electronic technoiogy widely used in the car, the fucl consurnption and emissions of the gasoline-powered automobiles made great improvement, in order to further satisfy the relevant regulations and requirements of state, Electronic technology in automotive applications in width and depth will further increase. Meanwhile, people put forward higher request for comfortableness, driving safety and performance of the car, developing new technology has broken in urgent. In the foregoing background and circumstances, this paper studied the key component of electronic-controlled engine, namely, electronic throttle control system, to develop efficient electronic-controlled gasoline engine lay the foundation.This paper shared sixth chapters that discussed of the theoretical basis and experimental research of ETC S (electronic throttle control system), The first chapter basically for the introduction section, which detailed the cause and background of the electronic throttle, domestic and international application situation and the advantages and disadvantages of ETCS, based on this looked forward to the development trending of ETCS; The content of the second chapter took DV-E5 type electronic throttle produced by Bosch company as the prototype, compared with and analyzed to the characteristic of structure of the traditional mechanical throttle, and completed the tested calibration to the electronic throttle system which included sensor part, motor parameters and characteristics of flow, prepared for the simulation and experiment of ETCS; The third chapter focused on analyzing the electronic throttle the causes of the nonlinear factors, established the mathematical model of the electronic throttle transmission system and electrical systems, and the system parameters was identified, which prepared for designing the control strategy and the simulation of ETCS; The fourth chapter mainly established the simulation model of ETCS basing on Matlab/Simulink, which simulated PID control strategy, Fuzzy control strategy and Sliding model variable structure control strategy and obtained the corresponding simulation curve; The fifth chapter was mainly from hardware selection to core subroutines in detail designs for the electric control system of ETC,adopting the PROTEL99se drawing software plotted system diagram, finished the designing of the serial communication protocol of the monitoring system, which lay the foundation for building test device and testing data acquisition of the sixth chapter; The sixth chapter basically completed the construction of hardware and the compiling of a software program of the ETC electronic control system, made electronic throttle control system static test and calibration, obtained the related experimental data and curve,to develop the electronic throttle control system that applied to electronic-controlled gasoline engine and lay a solid foundation.Test results showed that the incremental PID control algorithm and software program could fully satisfy the control requirements of ETC electronic control system designed by this paper, and software and hardware matching was good, had certain practical value.
