As an important part of electric vehicle, the bi-directional DC/DC converter mainly plays roles in achieving energy two-way transfer and a stable output-voltage etc., and directly affects the whole performances of electric vehicle. Therefore, studying on a high performance bi-directional DC/DC converter has extremely vital significance.At the beginning, the preface focuses on introducing the works on this topic research meaning, present study and research contents. And then, the power circuit topology of the bi-directional DC/DC converter (a four-phase interleaved bi-directional converter with coupled inductors) is put forward, which combines a BUCK converter and a BOOST converter to achieve energy two-way transfer. The main technical features include multiphase interleaving, integrated coupled magnetic technique, zero-voltage soft switching. Next, a sample (at 25kHz,310V to 112V,2kW BUCK mode operation) is making by the hardware design (including design and manufacture for coupled inductors, MOSFETs driver and protection with MC33153 at bootstrap mode etc.) and software design achieving in DSP TMS320F2808 (including ADC Sampling, PWM wave-forms generation, PID controller, digital filter etc.). At last, the verification of the high performances (high efficiency, stability, fast transient response) of the system is performed by Pspice simulation (at BUCK operation mode and BOOST operation mode) and experimentation (at BUCK operation mode).In addition, TMS320F2808 are ideal to control power electronic circuits and greatly simplifies the design of the bi-directional DC/DC converter because of these characteristics:high-speed performance; PWM module with complementary, dead-band, phase control functions; a 12-bit high-speed analog-to-digital converter.
