In recent years, with the national economy and the rapid development of modern industrial ports, national environmental needs become more and more high, and people's environmental protection consciousness is growing. How to curb environmental pollution has become a increasingly prominent problem. In numerous method, wind-break net, as an fective means in the field of environment protection, suppressed by everybody's attention. However, as a new technology, the domestic research is not deep enough, and the actual experience is limited, Windbreak effects of wind and dust is not a qualitative visual value, in engineeringdesign, wind load calculations and previous values based primarily on the design of civil experience. The widely-used wind-break net demands a higher technology content of design parameters.Taking a large ore yard in Jing-tang port as the background,we use the most commonly wind-break net and perform the experiments of wind speed reduction effect and press coefficient of the wind-break net, and obtain relevant results. This paper mainly studies the contents and results as follows:(1)With doing experiments on wind speed reduction effect of wind-break net,we get the The main factors of wind speed reduction effect, find the best wind nets after covered area not in close to the wind nets place, but in the distance for windbreak nets 2 times to 3 times nets high, and gives the wind nets best asylum range and wind speed reduction effect, according to the numerical results along the highly variable wind speed reduction effect, gives the wind nets engineering design Suggestions nets high.(2)According to the wind-tunnel test of the wind-break net, we get pressure coefficients mainly related to the opening rate and cross-section shape, and give the suggested value. It is concluded that the positive pressure coefficient is bigger than the back. So we suggest that we install the wind-break net back toward the main direct strong wind to minimize the wind load effect.
