With the rapid developmen of computer technology and power electronics technology , modern alternating current governor technology which based on that has made a long-term progress. In particular after the proposal of vector control technology, making the AC governor system can comparable to the DC speed governor system. AC governor systems which used computer-controlled as the core replacing analog control of DC governor systems has become a trend. This article studies speed sensorless vector control technology and applicates it to variable frequency washing machine, and has a very important theoretical and practical significance on speed sensorless vector control technology research and extension.In this paper, the asynchronous motor is the controlled object of vector control theory, asynchronous motor model in different coordinate systems has been establishde. On the basis of AC governor system with speed sensor in a closed loop and the principles of design of model reference adaptive speed observer, establish a speed sensorless vector control system.On MATLAB / SIMULINK simulation platform, simulat the principle of model reference adaptive speed sensorless vector control system, the analyzing simulation results shows that good accuracy of the control and verify the theoretical feasibility of this method.With the above theories and supported by the simulation model, the control method is applied to research on the varible frequency washing machines. With Renesas 16-bit microcontroller electronics company's R8C21246 chip as the MCU, design drive circuit and integration explain on the part of the circuit schematic diagram .Finally, from the communication with the master computer, the master software simulation and design of inverter board three directions detailed the software conversion process of the inverter board . Tested by physical experiments, the results also demonstrate the feasibility and practicality.
