To meet the economic development and meet travel demand, China's railway transport is in a period of rapid development, railway station are also in large-scale construction and renovation period. Railway station design subject to more factors, especially from the perspective of sustainable urban development, contemporary railway station has greater complexity and higher design requirements.Railway station with which the city and the surrounding environment are closely linked, With the concept of sustainable development and life-cycle theory of railway station for analysis, the significant adaptive demands. Life-cycle theory reveals the regularity of the life process, that process of evolution of things and its laws of matter and energy cycle, which led us to the railway station design flexibility of analysis and reflection. Railway station is designed to be adaptive from the perspective of the system, the station of the future development of a positive response and exploration in order to better meet the needs of the users and sustainable urban development.As a master of engineering-type study, this paper based on life-cycle theory and adaptive design of China's railway station with two points for the study of the origins, seeks to engineering practice, based on field research, case analysis and induction more Act on China's current railway station to explore the adaptability of the design, functionality, traffic, cultural and energy analysis of four aspects, and make a summary of planning and design strategies.Introduction part of this chapter, starting with the construction of China's railway station status and summary of domestic and foreign research results, followed by the railway station of adaptive design and life cycle environmental studies associated with the origin as a thesis, and the contents of the study defined. Second, third, fourth, five chapters are part of the main contents of this paper, namely the railway station of urban space environment, transportation environment, human environment, natural environment in four areas of adaptive design study to analyze a typical example demonstration,China's railway station and the adaptability of the current design status summarized.Research and analysis reports make analysis of the final conclusion and implementation of the strategy and the future railway station for the design of adaptive outlook. According to the analysis summarized the adaptability of railway station in the following four areas:in urban space environment, to achieve the comprehensive development of urban functions, a variety of functions complement each other, improve space utilization, space to add cohesion; the traffic environment, to achieve three-dimensional space transportation, a variety of seamless transportation, improve the efficiency of passenger travel; on the human environment, highlighting the forms of cultural expression, extending the city's cultural history, to enhance the city's cultural quality; in the natural environment, to achieve a new the best use of energy, reduce dependence on conventional energy, reducing the environmental load passenger station. By strengthening the life cycle of railway station within the adaptive design study to promote the railway station towards the convenient, pleasant, sustainable development direction of progress.
