With a large number of high-rise buildings and public works continue to emerge, we use underground space much more and more, while large quantities of question of the foundation also will be produced. So foundation pit has become a major problem. For the poor permeability of the aquitard saturated water and residual water of aquifer interface, using the conventional method of precipitation is difficult to dewatering. This will significantly affect the safety of foundation works and the progress of construction.In this paper, we propose vacuum dewatering method for poor permeable strata. The vacuum technology and well dewatering technology is well combined. And it can be more effective and economical to solve aquitard drainage problems.Firstly, with basis of principle of the vacuum we have analyses the flow field characteristics of vacuum dewatering and precipitation mechanism.through the silt on the multi-well field test method, further explored characteristics of groundwater seepage in the process of the vacuum dewatering. Such as the changes of groundwater level with time, the changes of groundwater level in horizontal and vertical directions, and the recovery of the water level, etc. And through the comparison of several precipitation scheme, analyzed the factors such as the depth of well points, spacing and layout so that it provided reference for the selection of parameters.Finally, we operated the test trials of soil properties through on-site soil samples before and after pumping. And we researched the method of vacuum dewatering how to affect the physical properties of silt.Based on the analysis in the test, we discuss the method of Group of well interference precipitation, and the corresponding formula. In order to choose more optimal precipitation solution, this article describes the method of "Big Well" and the method of finite element, which can optimize group of wells.
