The internal forces and displacements of Jing River Bridge under the coincident earthquake excitation as well as the traveling wave effect were analyzed. First, respectively inputting three adjusted seismic waves, El-centro wave, Tianjin wave, Wenchuan seismic wave at longitudinal of Jing River Bridge, and the dynamic response of the structure were compared. The results show Wenchuan seismic wave has greatest influence on the internal forces and displacements of Jing River Bridge. While El-centro wave has less, and Tianjin wave has the least influence on the internal forces and displacements of Jing River Bridge.Second, the internal force and displacement response considering single or three dimensional traveling wave effect were analyzed by inputting Wenchuan seismic wave at longitudinal, transverse, vertical direction as well as three dimensional orthogonal of Jing River Bridge. The results show seismic waves have influence on the internal forces and displacements of Jing River Bridge when considering single or three dimensional traveling wave effect. The longitudinal displacement, longitudinal shear, longitudinal moment at pier top, the longitudinal shear, longitudinal moment at pier bottom and the longitudinal displacement of Mid-span under the traveling wave effect are smaller than the coincident earthquake excitation by inputting seismic wave at longitudinal direction and three dimensional orthogonal of Jing River Bridge, but larger than the coincident earthquake excitation in most cases by inputting seismic wave at vertical direction of Jing River Bridge; The transverse displacement, transverse shear, transverse moment at pier top, the transverse shear, transverse moment at pier bottom and the transverse displacement, transverse moment, longitudinal moment at Mid-span comparing with the coincident earthquake excitation have non-regularity by inputting seismic wave at transverse direction and three dimensional orthogonal of Jing River Bridge.Last, the internal forces and displacements of Jing River Bridge were calculated under the traveling wave effect when considering the effect of pile and soil. It is indicated the traveling wave effect when considering the effect of pile and soil have significant influence on the internal forces and displacements of continuous rigid frame bridges. The change tendency of the internal force and displacement of continuous rigid frame bridges under the traveling wave effect when considering the effect of pile and soil are as the same as the results when don't considering the effect of pile and soil.
