In order to meet the development needs of high-rise buildings and underground space in our country, as a new supporting form of foundation pit and slope, composite soil nailing, which is developed from traditional soil nailing technology, have been widely applied in geotechnical integrated supporting structure. A lot of indoor experiments, field test, numerical situation and theory analysis have been made by domestic and overseas scholars for the mechanism of action, stability analysis, design theory and deformation calculation of composite soil nailing. Because of complex deformation characteristics, composite soil nailing support hardly have relatively mature theoretical methods and unified reliable standard control on its calculation of deformation.The reaserch of composite soil nailing support in our country is still at the elementary step, and the design is primarily based on the stability control, so lack of references involving the technical documents and program analysis design. Therefore, some jobs are made in this paper as following:(1) This paper summarizes the developing situation of the soil nail and composite soil nailing at home and abroad. Concept, structure and engineering application of composite soil nailing have also been expounded in the first part of paper;(2) The second chapter focuses on discussing rationality of several soil pressure distribution modes of composite soil nailing support, studying the composite soil nailing design theory,which includes soil nailing and surface course design, design of micropile and stability analysis;(3) Analysis on the lateral deformation computation theory and settlement calculation method of the micropile is developed in detail. With the help of numerical calculation of finite element method, this paper mainly study the computation theory about lateral displacment of the micropile, calculate the subsidiary stress and vertical settlement of micropile separately by using Midlin solution and layerwise summation method, and then adopt TongJi parabolic model to analysis of surface subsidence of retaining structure. (4) Matlab which is the short name of Matrix Laboratory is introduced as a kind of computer analysis software, which is extensively applied in geotechnical engineering.Based on the above theories, choosing reasonable calculation method and theory, the author has wrote a series of procedures for computing horizontal displacement and settlement deformation of micropile-composite soil nailing by using Matlab programming language, according to the calculation results acquired from computer program, the writer analyzes the changing regularity under the influence of different factors analysis, which can affect the lateral displacement and surface subsidence of composite soil nailing support.Calculating parameters include the upper loads on a micropile, embedded depth, diameter of the pile, pile spacing, the level space of soil nailing, diameter of soil nailing, length of the soil nailing,etc.
