Along with the rapid development of industrial technology, computer control systems play more and more important part in chemical engineering, pharmaceutical engineering, petrochemical engineering. Meanwhile, the modern industry technology puts forward higher request in control system reliability in order to adapt the high temperature and pressure. Control system with high redundancy is one of the important ways to improve the reliability, but common failure can reduce the system reliability greatly.The GO-FLOW methodology is a new reliability analysis of engineering system with analysis process staring from event beginning, after the calculation from the GO-FLOW model, the reliability result is precision. The GO-FLOW methodology can take common cause failure combined to system reliability analysis, with qualitative and quantitative analysis to get reliability analysis results of the system with common cause.Main contents can be summarized as follows:(1) Based on introducing the development of reliability engineering, this paper provide with contents on the process of modeling and analysis of engineering system. At the same time, this paper describes the knowledge of repairable system.(2) Describing the technical development and characteristics of the computer system with high redundancy.(3) Based on the introduction of GO-FLOW method, this paper expounds the basic principle and modeling rules, introducing the operators' basic principle and the operation rules.(4) This paper introduces the basic principle of common cause failure and the influence in the reliability analysis of the control system with high redundancy.(5) This paper based on introducing the theory of GO-FLOW methodology briefly describes the implicit method of solving common fault failure with GO-FLOW methodology.(6) This paper which is focused on the success probability of the system, describes the methods of solving common fault failure with GO-FLOW methodology in the repairable system, at the same time providing an example to illustrate it, and also expending the field for GO-FLOW methodology with concision solution for reliability analysis of engineering system in common fault failure.(7) This paper creates type 51 operator and type 52 operator, expending the field for GO-FLOW methodology with concision solution for reliability analysis of engineering system in common fault failure.(8) This paper introduces system structure and schematic diagram of the UW900 computer control system from Hangzhou UWin Co.LTD, creating its GO-FLOW model and the detailed reliability analysis.
