As the sparse pile foundation considering pile-soil interaction, its settlement is smaller than the natural foundation, larger than conventional pile, therefore, this article focuses about settlement calculation and influencing factors of the sparse pile foundation on the deep soft ground.Through researching used by the present method of calculation of pile settlement, combination with the force characteristics of sparse pile foundation in the deep soft ground, proceeding from stress amendmend, proposed a new calculation method of sparse pile foundation settlement——sparse pile limit law, this method cleverly avoids the problem of direct calculation of pile-soil stress ratio, assumed to achieve its ultimate bearing capacity of pile foundation, the use of correction factor to the settlement of amendment, comparison of the engineering practice, illustrate the convenience and reliability ofmethods, for calculating the settlement of spaese pile foundation provided a better reference.As the soft soil boring tests of pile group for the theoretical basis, using FLAC3D geotechnical engineering software set up three-dimensional numerical model, analysis about operating characteristics of sparse pile foundation in the soft group, considered compared with normal and large pile groups, pile away from the 6d is the most beneficial to pile tip resistance and friction play; the field test results compared with the simulation data, in ensuring the model under the premise of reasonable length for different piles,different pile spacing,different pile modulus and to study factors such as variable stiffness, ansys of its impact of sparse pile foundation on the soft ground.Making use of settlement volume control about the pile foundation design methods, with project, analysis of design methods and economic benefits about sparse pile foundation, and a summary of current sparse pile foundation suitable for the application area, significant economic benefit is the outstanding advantage of sparse pile foundation, in general which can save about 30% of the cost of pile foundation.
