| To build conversation-mined society and to keep sustainable developments have become the guiding ideology of social and economic development. In engineering construction, the high performance concrete has the advantage to achieve the aim. It took very long time that the concrete had been used as main building material in every country since the Portland concrete appearing. However, with the times developing, the build material must have higher performance to be used in the high-rise building, expressway and all kinds of buildings in the rigorous environment. The high performance, which is called'21 century concrete', has been being investigated and used for recent several years for its good work-ability and durability.It is a new challenge to investigate and use the high performance concrete in the cruel climate and rigorous work-environment on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Being benefit from the useful research before, this article took the C60 and C30 concrete as research object. Many samples, which were obtained by changing the ratio of the two concrete above, were maintained in the lab. Their compressive strength and contraction ratio was investigated to obtain the proper combination ratio, which could be suit for using on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and to obtain the effect of dry-hot and dry-cold, w/c ratio, fly-ash on concrete's physical and mechanic characteristic on the plateau.The result shown that the strength and transformation of all concrete samples, were affected by adding fly ash. With the addition of fly ash increasing,the compressive strength of the concrete samples decreased.the compressive strength of the samples that were mixed with fly ash improved faster in later stage of maintenance,but contractibility rate decreased in the early stage. In dry-hot enviornment, due to the faster evaporation of water,concrete's strength could not reach the designed strength, the sample's designed strength should be greater than one under construction. In dry-cold enviornment, concrete strength was affected either. Based on the results, when the high performance concrete was used on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,It was necessary to pay attention to construction technology and concrete maintenance.For an instance,water replenishing should be considered in dry hot enviornment, while the operation of keeping warm should be done in dry cold enviornment, especially in some areas, the electric blankets were used to keep the concrete warm.By the comprehensive analysis of experimental investigation of all the samples, the conlusion was that, when the high performance concrete was compounded on Qinghai-Tebit Plateau, C30 water cement ratio should be less than 0.42, and fly ash should not be more than 33%, while C60 water cement ratio should be less than 0.30, and fiy-ash should not be more than 25%.The application of Hight Performance Concrete on Qinghai-Tibet Plateau was investigated primarily in this article. It could be the foundation of studying and using the Hight Performance Concrete in cruel enviorment on Qinghai-Tebit Plateau. |
