The system introduce the basic idea of use the DSP techniques to measure the electrical parameters, using a hardware genlock technology to achieve simultaneous sampling. In this paper, from the hardware circuit structure and operating principle, to software design introduces of multi-function power meter.In this paper, ADI's Blackfin series BF531 of DSP as a data collection and processing chip, and STM32F103 ARM chip peripheral module expansion as the overall design of the program. On the hardware side: High-performance DSP processor to obtain the AD73360's sampled data to realize three-phase voltage, three-phase current, active power, reactive power, apparent power, active power, reactive power, apparent power, as well as frequency and power factor, etc electric parameter measurement; Complete the FFT transform, realize high-order harmonic's measurement and analysis in the power system. ARM processor external of FRAM FM24C32, real-time clock chip M41T83 can guarantees data is not lost on power-down and provides real-time time for the system ; Display module using high-resolution LCD screen, so that shows better; The communication interface of RS-485's MODBUS protocol can be easy to achieve the data exchange between PC and achieve intelligent meter reading; The amount of input and output switches using opto isolation, effectively reduce the interference, simplifying the circuit design, improve performance and reliability. On the software side: Mainly within the system of communication procedures and a variety of electrical parameters of the algorithm, etc.; Host machine interface using LABVIEW software programming, achieve electric meter remote monitoring.In addition, this system also two aspects of hardware and software design to increase the system's interference.
