Cementitious materials are widely applied to modern project, but normal cementitious materials have some defects such as brittleness and easy to crack and so on. And excessive cement content will bring severe pressure to environment.According to the theoretical design of Engineering fiber reinforced cementitious composites , this text choose PVA fibers, fly ash, super plasticizer to made out fiber reinforced cementitious composites successfully, and conducts a battery of tests. And strength, deformation, elastic modulus,stress-strain curve were got, take fiber content, water cement ratio and sand cement ratio as starting point ,The ductility of PVA-FRCC are mainly studied in this text.PVA-FRCC possessed excellent ductility, limiting tensile strain reachs 2.9%,is nearly 300 times normal concrete, and have the characteristic feature : many slits appeared and strain-stiffing phenomena. The bending test show that the flexural properties of PVA-FRCC increases significantly than common concrete, change concrete from brittle failure to ductility failure. The uniaxial compression test show that compressive strength is between 31.0MPa and 54.32MPa, compressive strain at park load is 0.33%~0.72% for 2 to 5 times concrete. Elastic modulus is about 26.8GPa~34.3GPa ,Poisson's Ratio is about 0.18~0.21 The direct tension test show that tensile strain at park load reaches 2.9%, and many slits appeared during the test. from stress-strain curve can see strain-stiffing phenomena. The elastic module are lower than normal concrete, and low stiffness, higher toughness, release its inner stress through deformation.
